Who's behind it?

If you're wondering who's behind PilotSchool, the answer is simple: a group of aviation enthusiasts who believe aviation should be affordable so it can reach everyone. We are all professionals who have worked in the aviation sector for more than 20 years, during which we have seen the sector evolve at every level, and especially in training. Our goal is to smooth the path for everyone who wants to get started in aviation, whether for a sporting, personal or professional purpose. You're surely full of doubts, but I assure you they all have a clear answer, and we can provide it.

Our distance-learning platform was built specifically from scratch and, as it happened, launched just before the pandemic. We felt that, given the work and family situations of many students, they needed the freedom to do the theory part with the flexibility to fit it around their own time.

Interestingly, the pandemic proved us right and boosted the use of distance learning, in which PPLONLINE is unrivaled in Spain for training private, ultralight and sport pilots.

To date we have had more than 300 student pilots since 2019, and we've been glad to see how we've improved the pass rate in the official exams, standardizing the training and establishing controls for the schools that make it possible — despite the distance — to keep thorough track of the student from day one.
