Private Airplane Pilot License

Total time 110h

The Private Pilot License or PPL(A), allows you to enjoy flying in aircraft as a pilot in command for non-commercial purposes. So you can fly with family, friends and enjoy the pleasure of flying at your own pace or rent an airplane on your vacations. The course is divided into a theoretical part of approximately 100 hours of training and a minimum of 45 hours of practical flight training. At the end of the theoretical part you will take a theoretical exam of 9 subjects and after the practical part you will take a practical exam with an examiner. After passing both exams you will be able to apply for the issuance of your license.

The theoretical exam can be taken at SENASA, which is the public entity in charge of conducting the theoretical pilot exams in Spain. Currently the headquarters is in Madrid and occasionally throughout the year they open calls in Barcelona and other locations. Additionally, we offer the opportunity to take exams with other organizations with which we have agreements both in Spain and in other countries (check availability).
